Sustainability is the core value upon which RAGA is founded. The best quality fruit is hand-picked from vineyards practicing sustainable and organic methods.

WINEMAKING PHILOSOPHY

Create wines which reflect the provenance of the vineyards by meticulous attention to detail in the winery and questioning the efficacy of winemaking methods be it traditional or nouveau, with healthy skepticism.

A hands-on approach is used in making the wine. Wild fermentation where appropriate, traditional pigeage, basket pressing, maturing in seasoned, large format oak are some of the techniques used.

The wine is finessed by gentle settling at a cool temperature over time which prevents the need for any fining or filtration.
